8. Data Retention

8.1 General Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account remains active.

8.2 Free Tier / 1 Rental Unit Forever

Your free-tier data is retained indefinitely as long as your account remains active.

8.3 Data on Non-Upgraded Accounts

If you add more than 1 rental unit and do not upgrade:

  • Excess units enter paused mode
  • Data linked to paused units is retained for at least 30 days
  • You may request a data export during this time

After 30 days we may:

  • Retain
  • Archive
  • Or delete the data

We will notify you before deletion.

8.4 Deleted Accounts

Upon account deletion:

  • Active data is deleted within a reasonable timeframe
  • Backups may retain encrypted records temporarily (for security and compliance)

8.5 Tenant Data from Landlords/Agents

We retain tenant data only while the landlord/agent’s account remains active.

When they delete or remove a tenant, data is deleted unless legally required to retain it.


9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Regular penetration testing
  • Monitoring for suspicious activity

No system is fully secure. You are responsible for strong passwords and safeguarding access.
